We went on the bus to Ambury farm as part of our topic studies. Room 4 watched the cows being milked and the sheep being shorn. We fed the hens and patted the calves.

2011: Book Week - How many books did we read?
Every time we read a book during book week, we filled in the details of the book in a fruit shape, and stuck the fruit shape to our fruit tree. At the end of the week, we all got a certificate for reading so many books during the week. Have a look at our photo's:

It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day. Perfect for experimenting with water and containers. A fun way to develop an understanding of capacity.
